I saw a video for a Snoop Doggy Dog song on some TV show. It had an action shot of a squirrel leaping from power line to power line. Praise Snoop (or whoever made that video) for including nature's greatest wonder: the squirrel.
I've recently started up a comic featuring a girl, her pet dragon, and a newly adopted squirrel. Okay, so the squirrel is a little, eh, sleepy for now, but he'll be up and about soon. :) Come on by if you have a minute or four!
hello i am new here. i love squirrels. I think i was one in a past life.now i am just really really attached to squirrels. If i was a superhero, i would be squirrel-woman, and i would poke people with q-tips and gnaw on them....muahahaha
I posted this in my own journal, but had to share here, too (of course)!
Not only does my boss have a squirrel's nest on her (outer) window sill full of baby squirrels suckling their momma, but the nest is maintained by an undoubtedly very tired albino momma! EEE! I am so excited. When I first saw them, the nest was opened towards the room, but at five it had been somewhat closed up. Hopefully it'll be open again tomorrow so I can try to take some pictures! (Like a museum or something. Fitting [since I work at a museum].) - I can't tell if the babies are albinos or not because they're still little pink furless things. :)
Speaking of squirrels, my sister (and roommate) bought a squirrel feeder for me to hang outside of our kitchen window. I think we have four squirrels living in the wall behind the entry door, so hopefully our kitties will get lots of squirrel action!
